If you have ever felt a deep and inherent desire to assist and support your community in a more meaningful and deeper way, look no further. At USMA one of the many ministries we have is especially geared towards community service.
In this article, you will learn more about how we support our communities and how you are able to join in and make a difference in another brother or sister’s life today.
Uplifting Those in Need
We serve our community as we serve our God, with love and support. Those less fortunate are identified and our ministry aims to connect where help is needed, raise funds and assist with housing, employment, any funds needed. Furthermore, we guide our fellow brothers and sisters and share the gospel with them in such a way that they are convinced to convert and join USMA. Our ministry does not stand for merely fixing issues, but for assisting and encouraging real change.
Establishing New Churches
By establishing and developing new congregations, we are harvesting more disciples and increasing our local footprint. It is not about having more visibility, but becoming one with the community and having a strong and supporting following. We also aim to establish more congregations on continents where we have missionaries and do fundraisers to assist with the building of these.
Invest in Great Health
Our bodies are our temples, and we need to take proper care of it. This is true to all our brothers and sisters from around the globe who do not have access to proper healthcare facilities. Our ministries aim to confront these issues and assist those in need of healthcare services, and to those brothers and sisters in our own communities who struggle with healthcare issues too.
Growing More Leaders
In all our outreaches and ministries, we aim to inspire our brothers and sisters, to teach them the ways of the gospel and to educate them in the righteous ways of our Lord and savior. In doing so, and in acting in true love and kindness, we hope to cultivate more Methodist leaders and have a bigger global footprint by doing so. We also have childcare ministries where we actively guide and assist the youth in Methodist ways and beliefs.
We hope you have found this article insightful and that you have a better idea of what we do at community service ministries, what we aim to achieve, and why we want to achieve these goals. We’d love for you to join us and help where you can, whether you have some time to spare and volunteer, or if you would like to help with raising funds. Your help is appreciated.
